“I don’t know what anyone means by luck is not on my side. We all need luck sometimes but it’s more about your hard work,” he said.
The goalkeeper also addressed the perception that opposing teams seem to create more chances whenever he is in goal, explaining that he sees it as part of the job rather than a disadvantage.
“People say balls come to me when I’m in post. For me, that’s not a problem. As a goalkeeper your job is to save. More balls should come,” he added.
Ati Zigi said facing more shots simply gives him more opportunities to help his team, stressing that a goalkeeper should always be prepared to make crucial saves when called upon.
