Kofi Nti’s Former Manager Warns Ofori Amponsah, Stonebwoy and KiDi Over ‘Odo Nwom’ Remix
A copyright dispute appears to be brewing ahead of the release of the highly anticipated “Odo Nwom” remix, as King Pee, the former manager of highlife musician Kofi Nti, has issued a strong warning to Ofori Amponsah, Stonebwoy, and KiDi over the project.
According to King Pee, Kofi Nti has ownership rights to the original song and any remake or remix should not proceed without the necessary authorization.

He cautioned all parties involved in the project to ensure that proper copyright procedures are followed to avoid possible legal action.
The warning comes after previews of the remix, which features Ofori Amponsah, Stonebwoy, and KiDi, began circulating on social media, generating excitement among music lovers ahead of its official release.

Meanwhile, Nana Poku Ashis, manager of Ofori Amponsah, has defended the veteran musician, stating that Ofori possesses documents proving ownership of “Odo Nwom.” He indicated that the singer is prepared to establish his rights if the matter escalates.
As discussions continue, neither Stonebwoy nor KiDi has publicly responded to the warning issued by King Pee.
