A Nigerian woman has gone public with allegations that she was assaulted and threatened with a knife by a man in Lagos after she rejected his romantic advances during a visit to his home.
The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, shared her experience in a video circulating online, which has attracted widespread attention and reactions from social media users.

According to her account, she had been communicating with the man through TikTok before travelling from Otukpo to Lagos to meet him in person.
She alleged that after meeting the man, he attempted to touch her and make romantic advances, but she rejected him after deciding she was no longer interested in pursuing any relationship with him.

The lady claimed that her decision angered the man, who allegedly responded violently by physically assaulting her and threatening her with a knife.
She said she eventually managed to escape from the residence, adding that she suffered injuries during the alleged attack.

In the video, visible bruising and swelling around one of her eyes could be seen as she narrated her experience.
