“We Don’t Even Have GH¢1” – King Promise Lookalike’s Father Begs Ajagurajah to Forgive His Son

The father of Robest, the young man widely known as King Promise’s lookalike, has made an emotional appeal to spiritual leader Ajagurajah, pleading with him to forgive his son amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the alleged curse placed on him.

Speaking publicly, the distraught father said his family was financially distressed and could not meet the conditions Ajagurajah had previously demanded before agreeing to reverse the alleged curse.

“There’s not even GH¢1,” he lamented while appealing for mercy, insisting that he never supported his son’s actions. 

According to him, he had repeatedly advised his son against insulting the spiritual leader and was deeply saddened by the situation.

“I sincerely plead with Ajagurajah, for God’s sake, to forgive my son. I never supported what he was doing. If I had supported his actions, I would have understood, but I never did,” he said. 

The appeal follows Ajagurajah’s claim that he spiritually cursed Robest after the latter allegedly insulted him online and accused him of being a fake spiritual leader.

Ajagurajah had earlier stated that he would require 100 cows, the nine left nails of a louse, and other ritual items before considering reversing the alleged curse. He also claimed the young man’s reported mental condition would continue unless those demands were met.

The controversy has generated widespread debate on social media, with many Ghanaians expressing sympathy for the family while others questioned the spiritual leader’s demands.

As discussions continue online, the father says his only wish is for his son to recover and for peace to prevail between the family and Ajagurajah.
