The artiste died just weeks before his 50th birthday after reportedly suffering complications related to his heart.

His booking agent and close associate, Vertex, confirmed that the singer’s health had worsened in the days leading to his passing.

According to Vertex, Fantan Mojah returned from the United States in good health before his condition suddenly changed.

“Since he came back from the United States, he was hearty, but over the past week he started to ‘tek down’ and he was admitted to the UHWI,” he said.

He explained that the singer’s condition later became critical.

“Last night, he was vomiting blood, and that was it. He passed away,” Vertex added.

Before his death, Fantan Mojah was preparing to perform at this year’s Reggae Jam Festival in Germany. Reports indicate that his Schengen visa for the event had already been approved.
