“Display my picture if you’re a woman do you think Ghana Belongs to you” – Man dares Oheneni Adazoa

A live television broadcast of Ahenfie Nkomo, a popular domestic affairs programme, descended into chaos after a heated confrontation between host Oheneni Adazoa and a man identified as Christopher during a promise-and-fail case.
The dramatic incident occurred during the programme’s July 14, 2026 edition after a woman appeared on the show alleging that Christopher had promised to rent a room for her after they had been intimate on two occasions but later cut off all communication.

Hoping to get answers, the woman brought the matter before the programme for public mediation.
As part of the show’s process, Oheneni Adazoa contacted Christopher by phone to hear his side of the story.
However, after introducing herself, Christopher reportedly refused to address the allegations and instead engaged the host in a heated verbal exchange.

As tensions escalated, Oheneni Adazoa warned that she would display Christopher’s photograph on live television if he continued to ignore her questions.
“Display Christopher’s picture now if he won’t respond to me. So that everyone will see him in Ghana,” she said during the broadcast.
Christopher, however, challenged the host to carry out the threat, questioning her authority to publicly expose him.

According to him, she should go ahead and display his photograph if she had “that effrontery,” while accusing her of behaving as though she owned the country.
The exchange became even more heated when Oheneni Adazoa responded that she did not have Christopher’s photograph but would have shown it if it were available.
The confrontation quickly escalated into a shouting match, with panellists on the programme also joining the discussion as tempers flared during the live broadcast.
Videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media, attracting mixed reactions from viewers.

While some users criticised Christopher’s conduct during the phone conversation, others questioned whether it was appropriate to threaten to publicly display the image of an individual during a live television programme.
The incident has once again placed Ghana’s popular promise-and-fail television programmes under public scrutiny, with many debating the approach used in handling such disputes.
