“Goodbye to Music for Now” – Jah Phinga Announces Emotional Break, Hints He May Never Return

Jah Phinga has announced an indefinite break from music, citing years of personal struggles, limited support, and the need to rebuild himself mentally and professionally.

In an emotional message titled “GOODBYE TO MUSIC FOR NOW,” the artiste reflected on his journey in the music industry, describing it as one driven by passion, perseverance, and faith despite numerous obstacles.

According to Jah Phinga, he faced discouragement, rejection, and ridicule during the early stages of his career and often had to rely on his own determination to keep pursuing his dreams.

“I’ve been discouraged, doubted, mocked, called a joke in my early years as an artist,” he wrote, adding that he developed his talent without mentors or structured guidance.

Despite the challenges, the musician expressed gratitude for the milestones he has achieved and the support he has received from fans over the years, attributing his progress to the grace and favour of God.

However, he revealed that he is stepping away from music for an indefinite period to focus on improving his mental well-being and securing the financial backing and professional resources needed to continue his career.

“Unfortunately I have to end it all here for now. I have to step away from music for some time,” he stated.

Jah Phinga also acknowledged that his future in music remains uncertain, explaining that his return will depend on whether he is able to regain the strength, support, and opportunities necessary to continue.

“I pray I get the strength mentally, support financially, and the right resources… or I will just have to give it all up for good,” he wrote.

He concluded his message by thanking fans for standing by him throughout his journey and left open the possibility of a comeback if circumstances improve and, as he put it, “the will of God” permits
