Australians Forced Me to Visit!” – Kuami Eugene Reveals Why He Had to Perform Down Under

Kuami Eugene has revealed that the overwhelming popularity of his music in Australia motivated him to travel there and perform for fans.

Speaking in an interview with Kula, popularly known as the Headless YouTuber, the award-winning singer said songs such as “Angela” and “Killing Me Softly”, his collaboration with Adina, received an enthusiastic reception from listeners in the country.

“They like Angela so much and they love Killing Me Softly in Australia that I had to go and even join them there,” Kuami Eugene said.

The singer explained that his trip to Australia was largely driven by organic demand from fans rather than being part of a carefully planned international expansion.

According to him, the warm reception encouraged him to stage performances in multiple cities across the country.

“I was in Australia. I was in Melbourne, I was in Sydney and I was doing shows,” he added.

Kuami Eugene’s remarks highlight the growing international appeal of Ghanaian music and the increasing support African artistes continue to receive from audiences around the world
