Liverpool has produced a roaring Anfield comeback to take points off league leaders Arsenal.
Arsenal missed the chance to secure a first league victory at Anfield since 2012 as Liverpool battled back from 2-0 down to a 2-2 draw.
Mikel Arteta’s side stepped onto the hallowed Merseyside turf with a real swagger to their play, duly taking the lead inside 10 minutes when a Virgil van Dijk blunder allowed Gabriel Martinelli to poke home and settle early Arsenal nerves.
After that early goal, Gabriel Jesus break his record of not scoring a goal against Liverpool at Anfield which took Arsenal to 2 up against Liverpool.
Liverpool’s main man Mohamed Salah pulled one back from a shot inside the box.
After Halftime Arsenal was leading by 2 goals to one. After the break Arsenal defender Rob Holding gives away a penalty to the home side.
Unfortunately for Liverpool fans Mo Salah missed the penalty but they never give up and keep soaking pressure on the league leaders.
Roberto Firmino was introduced to take out his national teammate Fabinho in the 78th minute.
And he scored a late equalizer to deny Arsenal from extending their title race point gap with Man City.
No one expects that from Liverpool but that is football they surprise Arsenal and grab a point.
