Ghanaian actress and TV host, Andrea Owusu, known in showbiz as Efia Odo has serious complained about the dominance of foreign contents on the Ghanaian Televisions.
Efia Odo lamented on how the pastors and foreign contents have taken over the television channels.
According to her, she has never seen a Ghanaian movie on Nigerian television yet Ghanaian TV channels always show Nigerian movies.
She indicated that she got no hates for Nigerians but The Ghanaian TV channels shouldn’t show Nigerian movies more than that of Ghanaians.
The actress has always been in the news for some of her comments and has received backlash from netizens.Efia who perhaps miss watching Ghanaian movies, took to social media to bemoan on the take over of foreign contents on the TV channels.
Efia said she would have questioned why she even has a TV if not for the streaming platforms.
Taking to Twitter, She wrote;
Gh channels are full of pastors praying and Chinese/Telenovela dramas in twi. They show more Nigerian movies than Ghanaians(no hate to Nigerians but I’ve never seen a Ghanaian movie on Nigerian television). If not for streaming platforms I would’ve questioned why I even have a tv.
