“Say Thank You!” – Rap Fada Blasts King Paluta, Claims He Made Him a Star With ‘Odo Bi Y3 Bad’
The rivalry between Kumasi-based musicians Rap Fada and King Paluta has reached a boiling point. In a fiery interview with celebrity blogger Zionfelix (January 2026), Rap Fada dismissed the idea that he should be grateful to King Paluta, arguing instead that Paluta owes his entire mainstream career to him.
The tension began when Zionfelix suggested that Rap Fada should appreciate King Paluta for his verse on the hit song “Odo Bi Y3 Bad,” which many believe put Rap Fada in the spotlight.
Rap Fada was quick to shut down that narrative. He claimed that before their collaboration, King Paluta was a struggling artist with many songs that “never went anywhere.”
“If anyone is to be appreciative of the other, it is King Paluta and not me. Before our feature, he had numerous songs, but none of them were a hit. It was my song that made Ghanaians know there was a musician called King Paluta,” Rap Fada declared.
Rap Fada further argued that the massive success King Paluta is enjoying now with songs like “Aseda” only happened because he gained national recognition through their collaboration. According to him, the platform he provided served as the “launchpad” that Paluta needed to finally break into the mainstream.
This beef is not new; the two have been at odds for months, with Rap Fada previously calling out Paluta for being “proud” and refusing to acknowledge his roots. Just weeks ago, at the “This is Oseikrom” concert, Rap Fada publicly called on Paluta to apologize for his ego, turning a live performance into a viral debate about respect in the industry.
