Former signee of Sarkodie’s record label, Strongman, recently revealed how he achieved popularity and financial success after leaving Sarkcess Music.
After ending his deal with MicBurnez Music in 2017, Strongman joined Sarkcess Music, but in 2019, he decided to part ways with the label. During his time with Sarkcess Music, he released several notable songs such as ‘Odasani,’ ‘Monster,’ ‘Vision,’ and ‘Baby Girl.’
In an interview with Kbn Nkansah, shared on Twitter by Arna Sadat, Strongman discussed the progress he experienced in his music career after leaving Sarkcess Music. He mentioned that he began making money in music around the time he was preparing to leave the label. Prior to Sarkcess, he had some funds that could have been used to buy a car, but instead, he spent it on other things.
During the interview, Strongman expressed gratitude towards Sarkodie, the CEO of Sarkcess Music, for supporting his growth in the showbiz industry. However, he emphasized that he currently feels more at peace with his music and other aspects of his life compared to his time at Sarkcess Music.
He explained that while Sarkcess Music helped him advance from “Form 1” to “Form 2,” he has since strived to reach higher levels and achieve personal growth. Strongman acknowledged the assistance he received from Sarkodie but emphasized his contentment with his current situation, stating that his mind feels cleared of certain burdens.
