Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities
The Ghana TV Consortium is offering businesses and brands various sponsorship, advertising, and digital engagement opportunities throughout the tournament. With the FIFA World Cup expected to attract millions of viewers in Ghana and billions worldwide, companies have a unique opportunity to increase their visibility and connect with a massive audience.
Warning Against Unauthorized Broadcasting
GBC, FIFA, and New World TV have issued a strong warning against unauthorized broadcasting, streaming, public viewing, rebroadcasting, or commercial distribution of World Cup content within Ghana.
The consortium stated that it will actively monitor television, radio, digital platforms, and social media channels during the competition. Individuals or organizations found violating the exclusive broadcasting rights may face legal action and regulatory sanctions.
Ghana Ready for FIFA World Cup 2026
GBC and its broadcasting partners expressed appreciation to the Government of Ghana and stakeholders for making free access to the tournament possible.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 begins on June 11 and will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Ghana has been drawn into Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama as the Black Stars seek to make a strong impression on football’s biggest stage.
The expanded tournament will feature 48 teams competing in 104 matches over nearly 40 days, with the final scheduled to take place in New Jersey on July 19, 2026.
The latest announcement follows New World TV’s extension of its partnership with FIFA, which includes broadcasting rights for both the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 across several Sub-Saharan African countries, including Ghana.
