Kwesi Arthur emphasizes that, despite confronting hurdles in moving to independence, he never meant to stop creating music.
Rapper Kwesi Arthur has denied allegations that he plans to retire from the music profession following his separation from his previous management group, Ground Up Chale.

During an interview with 3Music TV, Kwesi Arthur discussed the challenges he experienced in transitioning to freedom after leaving a system he had been a part of for numerous years.

Despite these obstacles, he continued to make music, including songs like “Pain Interlude,” “Penny,” and “For Life.”

The artist admitted that quitting the existing system required traversing unknown ground, yet he persisted in his goal. He stated that if he had contemplated abandoning music, it would have been in 2022, but he persevered.

Kwesi Arthur emphasized his recent milestone of publishing his first record under his own music company, which he formed as a memorial to his grandmother. He justified his choice to go off on his own, saying that no one should be surprised.

Furthermore, Kwesi Arthur declared his aim to inspire others, particularly other artists, by providing hope and support to people in need. He emphasized the importance of this responsibility and expressed appreciation for the chance.

Speculation regarding Kwesi Arthur’s disputes with his old record company spread on social media, prompting queries about his disappearance from the music world. It was believed that disagreements emerged during contract renegotiations, with some provisions proving difficult to change.

Reflecting on his experience, Kwesi Arthur stressed the need to receive legal guidance when dealing with contracts, cautioning against entering into agreements without careful consideration.
