Black Sherif Beats Global Competition to Secure Best International Flow at 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards
Black Sherif achieved his first BET award victory in the “Best International Flow” category at the recently concluded 2023 Hip Hop Awards. This marked his second nomination in the category at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Black Sherif triumphed over nine other talented rappers to secure the award. His competitors included fellow Africans Aka and K.O from South Africa, as well as Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe. Additionally, the category featured nominees from around the world, such as Gazo (France), Central Cee (UK), J Hus (UK), Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).
Notably, Black Sherif received his first nomination for the ‘Best International Flow’ category last year but narrowly missed out on the award, which went to Benjamin Epps.

In the 2022 edition of this prestigious awards scheme, Black Sherif was pitted against tough competition, including Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil) in the ‘Best International Flow’ category.

The awards show was recorded in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, and will be broadcasted live on October 10th. Below are some of the reactions from fans:
