Fuel Prices in Ghana Set to Drop in March 2025

Ghanaians can expect a reduction in fuel prices in the second pricing window of March 2025, according to the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COMC). This projected decrease is due to the decline in crude oil prices globally and a slight depreciation of the Ghana cedi against the US dollar.

Some Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have already begun reducing fuel prices. Total Energies has lowered petrol and diesel prices to GH¢ 15.79 per liter, while Shell has revised its prices to GH¢ 15.72 per liter for petrol and GH¢ 15.77 per liter for diesel.

More OMCs are expected to follow suit, but future price adjustments will depend on international market trends and local currency stability.
